Jaanus Tamme is an architect by education. After finishing university he and his friends established a creative agency Der Tank - one of the most successful design, branding and advertising companies in Estonia. However, his true passion has been and is sailing. He has been sailing since he was 7. Today Jaanus is one of the very few Estonians who has finished the Mini Transat - the longest solo race in the 6,5 m long boats across the Atlantic Ocean. He came in second in the 2016 solo ocean sailing series. 

Jaanus is the Founder of sailing equipment manufacturer Ropeye. Ropeye exports professional sailing equipment from Australia to America and from Dubai to Chile.  Besides sailing Jaanus is developing Noblessner Marina in Tallinn.
